A Delaware County resident that would like to have their existing private water system checked can contact the Delaware General Health District at 740-368-1700 and speak to a Residential Services Sanitarian about the types of tests available. Fees will vary depending on the type of sample that is requested.

Samples are taken on Tuesdays and Thursdays between after 12pm.
Samples can also be requested by filling out and returning the “Water Testing Request Form” (click here for form) along with payment. A Sanitarian will contact you to set up an appointment when the form is received.
