The Delaware General Health has partnered with area restaurants to help their customers make healthier choices while out to eat. DGHD dietitians have analyzed each menu item, specifically focusing on calories, total fat and saturated fat.
For the project, we mirrored the criteria on Healthy Dining Finder. Our analysis focused on selecting foods with 750 calories or fewer to allow for more flexibility with our menu findings.
The menu items identified as healthier choices are among the best choices for the majority of individuals looking to improve their diets. The Menu Project is a service of DGHD's Food Protection & Public Safety Unit.
