Ticks

The Delaware General Health District recognizes that ticks are carriers of diseases that affect humans including Lyme Disease and Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever. Knowing what to do is as important as knowing when ticks are most active.  Residents should be on high alert from April to September.  Tick activity increases during these months.
