to use eStudio

We will be using an
online application eStudio developed by
www.same-page.com. As most of
you have realized the complexity of the MAPP process and the challenge
we face to get the opinions, comments and participation of all the
partners due to the busy schedules. This is an attempt to provide the
members with the information and tools required to actively contribute
to the strategic process without imposing long meetings to get member
input. You are encouraged to go online at your own convenience and
complete the DISCUSSION (Step 1-4) and PRESENTATION (poll for
Readiness Assessment) section. You are requested to complete this
assignment by Monday September 25, 2006 (5 PM). It will not take more
than 30 minutes if you follow the instructions given below. This will
help us capture every member's input into the MAPP process.
Some of the
material provided in the WORKSPACE under the Organize for Success
folder are in the first MAPP process packet given to you. One of them
is titled Organizing the Planning Process and it is the second handout
on the right and the other one is the fourth handout on the right side
with the first question "What does it entail?". You can either refer
to the handouts from the previous meetings or visit the
Delaware County MAPP web or view it from the
WORKSPACE in eStudio.

Please
click on
www.delawarehealth.org/phdc.htm and sign into eStudio using
Username:
"your first name_last name initial" (E.g.
Susan_S)
Password:
password (Type the words)
You can and we recommend you change your password from
the Reception page from "MY PROFILE" (Shown below in the first screen
shot)
You will be taken to the
www.same-page.com website where
you will see the Reception page for the “Partnership for Healthy
Delaware County”
(PHDC) and “Mobilizing for Action through Planning and Partnership”
(MAPP) project. An image of the screen shot of the Reception page is
shown blow. You will observe that below the header we see

In
the center of the
RECEPTION
page
you will have the option Quick Start by clicking on new files, or by sending an email to any of the members. Below that is the News &
Announcements. You will have the opportunity to
view/listen to the
application demo and get some basic training to use the application. You can choose to go through it, but I will try to
explain the things we need for the first phase of the MAPP process.
Below that you
will view a brief introduction of the Partnership for
Healthy Delaware County.
On the left you see
any quick notes that may be posted by members and below that there
will be an eStudio tip.
On the right it shows MY PROFILE where
you may edit &/or change your password; IN WORKSPACE will list all the updated files since your
last visit or till you view it; and WHO's IN eSTUDIO will show the members
online at the same time you are logged in.

The next tab is a
space for document sharing and management. Please
click the tab WORKSPACE next to
Reception on top of the page. The page shows all the folders that you
have permission to view. Under each folder some files
that will be useful in completing the assignment have been uploaded. The folder we will
be focusing on for the first phase is "Organizing for Success and
Partnership Development". The first three files in this
folder will help you
answer some of the open ended questions under the discussion tab
(discussed below). The next file in this folder is the PowerPoint presentation for this phase
for better understanding of the process. The last two files list the
partner agencies and the partner roster.
The tab next to
WORKSPACE is COLLABTOOLS and this is where tools like discussions and
slide presentations for collecting information from members are
provided.

Please click on the
tab COLLABTOOLS next to Workspace.
This tab has 5 different tools that we hope to use during the entire
process.

For the first stage of the MAPP process (Organize for
Success) we will be using the
DISCUSSION
and
PRESENTATION
sections.
DISCUSSION:
When you click on DISCUSSION from the list of Collabtools the screen
shot will look like this

There are 5 steps to the first phase
"Organize for Success"
of the MAPP process.
The first 4 steps of the phase are listed under the
discussion separately (as shown in the image above).
Each step
has topics under them (they can be accessed by clicking on the
blue link
on the left column)
and each topic has some questions for you to answer by clicking on the
Discussion topic. To return to the
DISCUSSION list click on the large blue "D".
Continue to click on the "blue" statement for more Topics or Subtopics.

Under each topic you will have "reply | new" for your first response
(in
the lower right corner).
On your next visit to the same topic you will see that you have more
choices "edit | delete | reply | new".
PLEASE CLICK "reply"
(if it is the first time you are responding to the topic) or “edit”
(if you want to edit or add more comments to the topic) under each of
the topics to continue the discussion. These are open ended questions.
When you click on the reply button the page looks like this:

If
the topic has only one question, you may ignore the Post Subject
window. If there are more than one question under a topic, you are
requested to enter a key word to help with compilation of collected
information.
In the body, please
enter your reply, response or comments to continue the discussion.

Click
the SUBMIT button to get back to the topics page. Once you get back to
the list of topics click on the Blue
statement "Organizing the Planning Efforts"
in the example below to get back to the list of topics or previous
page. The Blue D
will take you back to the Discussion page. Each time you want to get back to the topic
just before the one you are working on click on the blue link next to
the red words (example shown below-:Specify
Sponsorship, Benefits, Critical Issues and Reasons).


Click on the next
topic or sub-topic, then click reply or edit (if you are adding to your own
comment) to complete all the discussion topics.
PRESENTATION: This part of the application helps us
poll our members to get everyone's input for objective questions.
We as a group need to complete a "Readiness Assessment" for the MAPP
process. Please click on Presentation under the tabs if you are in the COLLABTOOLS tab. If not
then click on the COLLABTOOLS tab and select
PRESENTATION. The screen shot of this page looks like this:

There is only one
presentation "Readiness Assessment". Click on it and you will see a
page similar to the screen shot below.

You
can see 18 slides. Each slide has one question. Each question has
three options available to pick from (Yes, No, Not Sure). The
questionnaire that is shown just below the slide numbers on top is an
image. An image is necessary to create a presentation slide. A screen shot
of the
questionnaire image is used on each slide. You may ignore
that image. The POLL QUESTION is on the left in gray with the answers
for selection. POLL RESULTS are presented on the right. You will be
brought into slide one when you click PRESENTATION. Please read the
question on the left and make your answer selection and click VOTE. Click
on "2" either on top or bottom of the page to go to the next slide and follow the same process till you get to slide
18. This does not take more than 10 minutes, if that.

The next tab is for
your information only.
CONTACT:
You will be able to view the contact information by eTeams.
If you click on the eTeam folder you will be able to
view the Partnership Group and Assessment Sub-committee (only
if you are a member of the Assessment Subcommittee).
The Vendor folder is ready to input vendor or vendors that will be
working with us to complete our assessments.
You will be able to
access the emails for all members and contact them if you prefer. It
is a secure site and your emails are safe. People can access this
project only if they are invited.
This is an attempt to walk you
through the eStudio website to complete discussions and presentations
to provide your input before the group meetings. Please feel free to
