Today, we're putting the spotlight on Cornerstone of Hope for #mentalhealthawarenessmonth. This agency offers grieving individuals and families a safe space to cope with their loss. According to our Community Health Assessment, 50% of Delaware County adults experienced a death of a family member or close friend within the past 12 months. That's why Cornerstone is assisting with the Community Health Improvement Plan to help Delaware County deal with grief in a healthy way!

And watch for more mental health agency spotlights throughout the month to learn just how many valuable resources we have in Delaware County!To help celebrate #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth, we are taking a little time every Wednesday this month to highlight the work done by a local agency within the behavioral health care continuum. We truly are a team and need each other to thrive!
Today we thought we'd explain ourselves. The Delaware-Morrow Mental Health and Recovery Services Board is the ADAMH Board for Delaware and Morrow Counties. State law requires that every county be covered by such a board. In the simplest terms, we use a mixture of levy, state, and grant funds to reimburse providers who give life-saving care to our residents. Whether that's crisis services for children, shelter for domestic violence survivors, or substance use disorder treatment, our providers are the frontline in the fight for mental heath and addiction treatment.
Please help us use Mental Health Awareness Month to shine a spotlight on the work done to keep our residents safe and healthy.
