Learn Life-Saving Skills with Delaware Public Health District’s CPR/AED/First Aid Classes
The Delaware Public Health District is excited to announce our new CPR/AED/First Aid classes, now available to the community! Whether you’re a healthcare professional, a teacher, a coach, or a parent, learning CPR and first aid can empower you to respond confidently in emergencies and potentially save lives.
American Heart Association Certification
Our classes are certified by the American Heart Association (AHA), a globally recognized leader in emergency cardiovascular care. Upon successful completion, participants will receive an AHA certification card, ensuring they meet the highest standards in life-saving education.
American Heart Association (AHA) course (please make sure that your employer or educator prefers this association, there are many associations that offer these courses, and some entities are specific about what they accept).
You cannot become Basic Life Support (BLS) certified if you are not a healthcare professional, please select a Heart saver option.
Course Completion cards are not available for 7-10 days after the course. We are a third party provider, and documents must be verified prior to AHA sending out cards. Please allow yourself time to get your card when scheduling the course. We are able to print a verification certificate (proof you were at the course, for attendance purposes only) upon request.
Certification is valid for two years.
