DELAWARE, Oh. — Community members, local leaders, healthcare professionals, and partner organizations are invited to attend the public release of the 2026 Delaware County Community Health Assessment (CHA) findings on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at the Delaware Public Health District, 470 S. Sandusky St., Delaware.
 
The presentation will highlight key findings from the countywide Community Health Assessment, which examines the health status, needs, and priorities of Delaware County residents. The assessment provides valuable data that helps guide local public health initiatives, community partnerships, and future planning to improve the health and well-being of everyone who lives, works, and visits Delaware County.
 
The findings will be presented by Dr. Karen Hines, lead researcher with Illuminology, who will provide an overview of the assessment process, review the data, and discuss important health trends identified throughout the county.
 
“The Community Health Assessment gives us a comprehensive look at the health of our community and helps ensure that our programs, partnerships, and resources are focused where they can have the greatest impact,” said Health Commissioner Garrett Guillozet. “We encourage community members and organizations to join us as we share these important findings and begin the conversation about the future health priorities for Delaware County.”
 
The Community Health Assessment is conducted every three years and serves as the foundation for developing the Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP), a collaborative effort involving healthcare providers, community organizations, schools, businesses, local governments, and residents.
