DELAWARE, Oh. — The SAFE Delaware County Coalition will hold its annual Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign kick-off on Friday, Aug 7, at 7pm during Main Street Delaware’s “Safety on Sandusky” First Friday event.

From August 19 through September 7, including the Labor Day holiday weekend, law enforcement agencies across Delaware County will participate in the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over high-visibility enforcement campaign. The campaign is designed to deter impaired driving and remind motorists to plan ahead, drive responsibly, and help keep Delaware County roads safe for everyone.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol along with Delaware County law enforcement and will be highly visible on the state’s roadways during this timeframe. As always, law enforcement is committed to removing dangerous and impaired drivers, keeping Ohioans and our visitors safe.

The public and members of the media are invited to join SAFE partners enjoy the festivities while learning more about the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign and the importance of making safe, responsible choices when traveling on our roadways.
